How We Care for Our Employees During COVID-19

The nationwide lockdown for Malaysia due to COVID-19 happened suddenly and caught us all off guard. At Abba Maintenance Services, we believe that our employees are our greatest assets and it is our responsibility to care for them even more during these tough times.

Our founder, Peter Peng shared with 前线追踪 on coping with COVID-19 and with Malaysia’s sudden lockdown. We rented apartments on short notice for our Malaysian workers and bought all the necessary household appliances such as standing fans, mattresses, kettles etc so they could be housed comfortably. In addition, we provided food, transport and groceries allowances to offset their cost during this period.

Journalists reached out to us organically from TODAY, Channel 8 and we were also featured in My Careers Future on our efforts to deal with the lockdown.
