Dishwasher

The job of a dishwasher is a critical one in many restaurants and food service establishments and other workplaces. Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment used in food preparation and service. The following is a description of the job scope and duties of a dishwasher:

CLEANING DISHES AND UTENSILS

The primary responsibility of a dishwasher is to

  • Clean Dishes
  • Silverware
  • Glasses and other utensils are used in food preparation and service.

OPERATING DISHWASHING EQUIPMENT

Dishwashers are responsible for

  • Operating Dishwashing Equipment
  • Commercial Dishwashers
  • Sinks and other Cleaning Equipment.

MAINTAINING CLEANLINESS AND ORGANISATION

Dishwashers are responsible for maintaining

  • Clean and organized work area
  • Washing down counters
  • Cleaning floors and keeping the dishwashing area free of clutter.

SORTING AND STACKING DISHES

Dishwashers must be able to

  • Sort dishes and utensils according to type and size, and stack them in an organized and efficient manner.

INSPECTING DISHES AND EQUIPMENT

Dishwashers are responsible for

  • Inspecting dishes and equipment to ensure they are clean and free of damage or defects.

HANDLING AND DISPOSING OF WASTE

Dishwashers are responsible for

  • Handling and disposing of waste, including food scraps and trash, in a safe and sanitary manner.

We hired workers and were supportive of those who are willing to commit and work as long as they have a good attitude and we would also encourage hiring workers with at least 1 year of experience if possible.  

Our workers can work based on the schedule of the client, however, they are full-time workers and stable in terms of supporting the clients as we would encourage clients to hire them with longer hours if possible, for part-time roles, we would be able to support upon checking on the details and requirements and schedule needed.

We are charging per hourly rate for each site, the rate if fixed upon signing of the contract and agreeable on both ends. Payment terms would be 30 days by default. 

Our workers would use the cleaning products provided by the client side and would be familiar with cleaning plates and dishes. They will support in making sure that the washing speed and fast-paced environment is covered from their end. 

In case there is any damage to items, we would rectify with the client to make sure that the issue is resolved amicably and also being fair to both ends. For now, we would have a policy of $200 compensation for any damage of items at the workplace

Our workers are hired in as a full-timer to support the service and generally, this is their full-time role, they also have undergone vigorous recruitment in order to get this role. They have been briefed during onboarding that they have to be aware of the workplace guidelines and that any misconduct will lead to the termination of their employment.
